A calm and moody bedroom.

Let’s face it, at the end of the day we all need a little peace and quiet. A soft place to land. An inviting space that makes you want to stay a little longer. After going through my Love Where You Live Workbook, I knew exactly what I needed to do to make this space complete!

**The workbook is available as an instant download. You can start using it today and use it on as many rooms as you need!**

Here’s my simple room design (above). I wanted to go dark. Plum meets chocolate. And I LOVE it! I also wanted a touch of black, but also blue. With the right combo and items - it CAN be done. Having the room design really helps you SEE the space before you start making any changes.

Save time. Save stress. Save money. Thank you room design.

3 TIPS TO CREATE A COZY BEDROOM

  • Velvet curtains. And a lot of them. They add drama. They add the cozy factor to the walls. That soft texture in a bedroom is super inviting.

  • Layer your bedding. Sheets, a quilt, a duvet, throw pillows, accent blankets. Add all of the above to elevate your space.

  • Lighting. A room needs multiple sources of light. Don’t just rely on the overhead lighting (I NEVER turn on those lights.)

And because you just can’t quite capture the full effect from a photo, check out this video.
