Whether you are building a home from the ground up or giving your current home a makeover, mixing budget friendly items with quality and timeless pieces is how I love to achieve a beautiful look. No matter your budget, it’s important to know what items to invest in!

COUCHES

You knew this would be the first item, right? A couch is one of the most used items in our homes. It’s in one of most used rooms of your home. Investing in a nice couch will allow your family to get more use out of it over time. Plus, a couch that isn’t great quality will definitely show it’s wear and tear a lot quicker!

LIGHTING

Good quality lighting CAN change the entire feel of a room. Investing in good lighting will not only make you happier while you’re living there, but it’s great for resale, too. Also, don’t forget to have the right kind of light bulbs!

RUGS

Rugs can be expensive, I know this to be very true. But, if you invest in a high quality rug you will have it for YEARS. Even if it’s in a high traffic area, especially if it’s in a high traffic area, a quality rug is super important to have! When reading the materials it’s made from, look for words like “hand knotted” - that means it’s great qualtiy!

BEDDING

Sleeping is another thing that you spend a lot of time doing. So, why not be as comfortable as possible? Also, quality bedding will last A LOT longer than something super cheap you found on sale.
